A student’s story.

 

Mary began practicing the 2 Immunity exercises on March 2 and has been practicing every day since. She is a survivor of ovarian cancer since 2000. She is diabetic, has had 2 shoulder replacements and 2 hip replacements and has severe spinal stenosis. She has 2 bad knees and has psoriatic arthritis and high blood pressure. As a result of chemotherapy in 2000, she has suffered peripheral neuropathy in her feet and lower legs. She takes medications for diabetes, high blood pressure, psoriatic arthritis and for her neuropathy. She also has respiratory issues and takes medication for that. Despite her issues, she says that “she lives a normal, healthy lifestyle, with some restrictions.” Results from practicing Immunity exercises daily for 2 months: Mary has greater range of motion. She can stretch farther. Initially, she had difficulty putting her right arm behind her back, having to lean forward to do so. Now she can do this with ease. She is able to turn her neck more freely. She is able to stand more upright, and she has noticed how her BALANCE is much better while standing and walking. When she starts to lose her balance, she can rebalance herself faster, so she feels much more confident in the “uprightness” of her movements. She feels better walking as she is able to walk more easily and can walk longer distances. Her legs don’t get as tired as before starting the Immunity exercises. Going down steps she does not have to think about being as careful. She feels like things are flowing more and in general, she is feeling better. People around her tell her that she “looks good” and that “her skin looks good.” Mary is excited about her progress and plans to continue practicing every day.
